My succulent garden, apart from eating, drinking and daily necessities, I can stay here all day looking at the succulents
The pots were all bought cheaply, some are not breathable, and two of them are our rice bowls. I pestered my uncle to drill the holes bigger. I counted and it's not even 100
I sorted out the ones that froze to death in winter and the ones that didn't grow well, repotting and changing the soil. Mixing the soil really wore me out. I thought I would use a lot of soil, but in the end I didn't even use half of it
Adding soil with all my might
Then I planted for a whole afternoon. The sun in early March was already so scorching that my hands got tanned like this. I posted it on WeChat Moments begging for sympathy, but instead of looking at my succulents, they all said my hands were too chubby. So exhausting
Even though I got tanned like this, it was still very worth it, because they have always been trying to look beautiful for me
Soul
In the morning there is still dew on them, and sunlight is the best beauty filter
All the photos were taken with a phone, and there was no beauty filter either
In order to photograph the dew, I got up really early this morning
Agave utahensis (Ebony)
But I feel there were still many succulents whose dew dried before I could photograph them
Echeveria 'Alba Beauty', it was a beauty when it arrived, and it has stayed beautiful all along
Echeveria 'Original Carola'
Echeveria 'Togen' cristata, this is what someone bought me as an apology because they didn't come to my wedding
Sedum pachyphyllum (Jelly Beans), I really like this pot. It got frostbitten last time and still has many wounds, but that doesn't stop it from getting more and more beautiful, more and more charming
Echeveria 'Frosty Morn', grown from a leaf cutting
Echeveria 'Onslow Rose', it was even more beautiful a few days ago. It got a bit of rain these two days, so the color is not as pink, but it is still my favorite little fairy
Echeveria 'Allen', with a very special shape
Graptopetalum paraguayense (Ghost Plant), very pretty
Echeveria 'Magic Man', I never liked it, but later someone gave me a pot, and I found it is actually quite beautiful
Graptopetalum 'Inada-hime', the leaf center is pink
Echeveria 'Sword Snow White' with black edges, lots of pups
Here's a close-up
Echeveria 'Qiluo' cristata, also a gift from a friend
Another close-up
The biggest succulent, I super love it. For my birthday gift I specifically asked someone to send me a succulent
Coffee with a Pachyphytum compactum flavor
Would you like a cup
A tiny Pansy
Sedum 'Banana Beauty'
Echeveria 'Meixing' variegata, still bearing the merit of making it through winter
Echeveria 'Purple Delight'
Echeveria 'Dark Ice'
The super ethereal Echeveria 'White Moon Shadow'
Just potted, looking forward to it becoming beautiful
White Line, this pot is very distinctive
Echeveria 'Cream Peach', the leaf edges also got frostbitten in winter, but it is getting better and better looking, and the leaf shape is getting shorter and shorter
Close-up
Sedum adolphi (Golden Sedum) from a leaf cutting
Echeveria 'Snow Angel'
Echeveria 'Riga', the blood spots are super pretty. It fought through the summer, turning from green grass into a flower
Echeveria 'Osmanthus Sweetheart', also full of fairy-like elegance
A tiny one, very beautiful, I don't know what it's called anymore
Pachyphytum 'Mikazuki'
A strangely shaped Sedum rubrotinctum (Pork and Beans)
Pachyphytum 'Peach Beauty'
The freshly repotted Echeveria 'Wax Peony' really has unlimited potential. I always thought I couldn't grow this color, but as long as you give it time, it will show you beauty
Echeveria 'Purple Pearl', and finally I hope the succulents can make it through the summer safely. It's okay if they're a bit ugly, being alive is hope
