Succulents, thanks to ample light and the temperature difference between day and night, take on a whole-plant color that becomes very alluring, as if they had turned into psychedelic jelly. (As shown in the picture below.)

And some colorful-leaved plants look better the colder the weather gets. Do you want to know which plants those are? Come and take a look with me!

1. Oil-spot lily

At first glance the leaves look like they have ugly spots, but they are very pleasing to look at, the leaves are very glossy, and there is a large bulb at the base of the stem.

What I like most are the leopard-print spots on its leaves; if the weather turns a little colder, its leaves turn lemon yellow, which looks even better.

2. Cordyline

There are actually quite a lot of cordyline varieties; the dwarf varieties are very suitable for growing in pots, and if kept on the balcony and the temperature suddenly drops, together with a little cold rain, its green leaves will slowly turn red, which is very marvelous. Only after growing cordyline do you understand how marvelous it is.

3. Joseph's coat

It is a relatively niche herbaceous foliage plant, and its leaves also change with the temperature, with different colors in each of the four seasons, including green, reddish brown, peach red and pale yellow; if the weather turns colder, its leaves will curl and turn bright red.

4. Rainbow peperomia

It belongs to the same genus as round-leaf peperomia (Peperomia obtusifolia), and this peperomia has white markings on its leaves; although it is very shade-tolerant, it looks best when grown in bright light.

Especially when the weather turns colder, the leaves will slowly turn peach red, with the mottled red and yellow-green setting each other off.

5. Redbird flower

This rather special foliage plant from the south is not often seen in the north; normally its leaves and stems are milky white, and it likes plenty of diffused light and good drainage.

Its stems and leaves are green in summer, and after the weather turns cold they slowly turn peach red.

6. African violet

If you have grown mottled African violets, then you have certainly experienced their charm; they only need a slightly bright environment to bloom, and are one of the finest indoor flowering plants.

After the weather turns colder, the green patterned leaves slowly turn white
