Clivia leaves are green and glossy, and it really looks great grown at home. Want to turn 1 pot of Clivia into 10 pots? How to do it? Huahua teaches you!

1. Wait until the new shoots grow 3-5 leaves

When Clivia grows well, it will send up small seedlings. When the small seedlings grow 3-5 leaves and the temperature is not lower than 15 degrees, then divide them.

2. Take the Clivia out of the pot and remove the soil

Do not water the Clivia for 2-3 days in advance, then take it out of the pot and remove the soil; the soil will not be too wet, making it easier to handle. Carefully brush the soil off the roots with your hands so the roots are clearly exposed.

3. Prune the roots and cut off the new shoots together with their roots

After the soil is cleaned off, cut away the old roots and rotten roots, then use a knife to cut off the new shoots with roots. The stronger the roots of the new shoots, the better!

4. Soak in a carbendazim solution

Put the Clivia plants into a carbendazim solution, soak for 20 minutes, then take them out and put them in a cool, ventilated place to dry.

5. Prepare loose, breathable soil

Put broken bricks or bark at the bottom of the flower pot to improve drainage and air permeability, then add pine needle soil.

6. Pot the Clivia

Plant the Clivia separately into flower pots, water thoroughly once, then put them in a cool, ventilated place for half a month. Turning 1 pot of Clivia into 10 pots is just that simple!
