Now the main text begins:

In the past, electric drills, screwdrivers, and tape measures were all things in men's hands, and just hearing the noise of an electric drill gave a feeling of bloody, mangled fear. Now raising succulents is like becoming a mother, and for a mother's sake one becomes strong!

To add space for the ever-growing succulent sons, I first bought shelves and brackets online, borrowed an electric drill from a colleague, measured the dimensions, and though I usually watch others do it, when it was my turn I braced myself and started working like a skilled hand. Fortunately my knack was pretty good, and it basically went smoothly.

This shows that being a tough girl is not forced, but latent within...

The shelf bought online came with two built-in brackets, but worried it could not bear the weight of the succulents, I also bought triangular brackets. Using both sets together, load-bearing is no problem.

First I placed a few babies to see the effect, satisfied!

A few more, ha, rock solid and good!

Look at this big family. I had already prepared to cut off my hands and stop buying succulents, but after finishing this renovation, the space suddenly freed up made me restless again. Oh heavens, who will discipline me!

This big red pot is both my favorite and my most hated, because last year at the end of summer and beginning of autumn, since it is glazed inside and out, it caused black rot in two of my beloved succulents, and the drainage hole at the bottom is also a bit small. A few days ago, to let it breathe, I came up with the idea of using hot glue to stick glass beads to the bottom to raise it, so it could get some air above and below.

When doing it, the order was reversed. I should have enlarged the hole first and then glued on the glass beads. As a result, when I drilled the hole, the already glued glass beads rolled all over the floor, and I cried at my own stupidity.

The glue gun and glue sticks were both provided by a colleague who is also a succulent friend. The glass beads were bought online for 4.5 yuan for one hundred.

After gluing them on again, the drainage hole is as big as a one-yuan coin, and finally my wish was achieved.

There is now a ventilated distance from the tabletop, but gluing to a smooth surface also has a drawback: if the pot is not moved, it can be guaranteed not to fall off, but once it is moved around, haha, one falls today and two tomorrow, and in the blink of an eye it is restored to factory settings. Haha, so I need to consider changing the adhesive, and friends are welcome to offer suggestions.

Idle is still idle, so those that can have holes enlarged get holes enlarged, and those that can have glass beads glued on get glass beads glued on. The next day I have to return all the tools; borrowing again will not be hard. Hehe...

Finally, I temporarily put together a pot for the finale, which contains the manuscript fee rewarded by the village chief. Guess who.

By the way, the Jade Plant (Crassula ovata) should have developed variegation. It should have been lush green, but it stayed tender yellow all winter.

Succulent group buy: the newly listed Peach Eggs have an even more cost-effective package! The village chief has gone crazy, 10 three-headed Peach Eggs for only 39.9! Yes, that is the price for ten!
