Whether you're a food lover or someone trying to lose weight, I believe everyone really enjoys eating fruit, but the pits left after eating are usually thrown away. In fact, if you plant them in pots, the results can be surprising! Today Huahua will show everyone how to use leftover fruit pits to grow fruit!

1. Dragon fruit

You can wrap the dragon fruit flesh in mesh fabric, then put it in water and squeeze the mesh with your hands so the flesh and seeds separate smoothly. The flesh will dissolve in the water, leaving only the black seeds. Then use a paper towel to blot the water off the seeds, or leave them in the sun to dry for a while, and they are ready for planting.

Fill the prepared pot with soil and water it a little to keep the soil moist, then scatter the seeds on the soil, paying attention to the spacing between the seeds. Then cover it with plastic wrap. You can open it every day to mist it, and after one week you will see new sprouts, and at that point you can remove the plastic wrap!

2. Pineapple

What we use to grow pineapple is the leafy crown on top that we often throw away, so when buying a pineapple, choose one with an intact leafy crown. Then when cutting, cut off the leafy crown intact, and be careful not to cut off any flesh with it.

Then starting from its base, slowly peel off the leaves until the white stem is exposed, and it can be placed in a water propagation bottle to root. Put it in a sunny place, and after a few weeks you will see its roots gradually growing. Once the roots have grown to a certain extent, it can be transplanted into a flower pot for care!

Because the pineapple has only just started growing, watering twice a week is enough. Gradually it will grow new leaves, and at that point you can fertilize, but the concentration should be low, not high.

3. Longan

Longan is a treasured fruit; its benefits are too many to count, and it tastes very good, which is why it is so well loved.

We need to wash the leftover seeds clean, without any flesh attached, then soak the seeds in water for a week to encourage sprouting. During this time, be sure to change the water often, which can speed up the germination rate.

Once the seeds show sprouts, they can be planted in a pot. Keep the planting soil moist, and after a few weeks you will clearly see the young sprouts growing!
