To make a miniature landscape, first we need to choose a suitable container. The most commonly used are glass containers, wooden containers and ceramic containers. Of course, if conditions allow, you can also use a fish tank to make one, and the effect is comparable to an undersea world!

Once the container is chosen, the next step is to prepare the plants for inside it. Commonly used plants include nerve plant (Fittonia), moss, asparagus fern and succulents. You can also choose corresponding plants according to your own preferences. The number of stones and decorations should be decided according to the size of the container.

Spread a 1cm-thick layer of lightweight stones at the bottom of the container. After leveling it, put in a little sphagnum moss and moisten it with a spray. Next, you can add the growing soil. According to your own design, adjust the slope of the soil, then spray water on the surface of the soil until a slight accumulation of water appears at the bottom.

Next, you can plant the prepared plants into the container. When planting, pay attention to the arrangement and make sure each plant has its own space to grow. Then place stones in to secure the plants, and lay moss over the empty areas.

Now it is time for the final decoration. Place figurines and other items one by one in suitable positions according to your own design. Spread small stones over the exposed parts of the planting soil, then spray the plants with water, and a complete plant landscape is done! Be sure to place it in a cool spot with bright, indirect light, and avoid direct sun exposure!

This kind of making is all about letting your imagination run wild. The only limit is what you cannot think of, not what you cannot do!
