The succulent train to spring is here, hurry up and get on board

It's that time of year again when you don't need to buy flowers~

flowers are blooming everywhere, winter jasmine, cherry blossoms, spring plum, crabapple, lilac, redbud, lavender, Chinese peony, tree peony, iris, dandelion, Persian speedwell, violet...

I bet the last two are ones everyone has seen but never been able to name~~

Persian speedwell

Violet

As a kid I never thought I had much everyday knowledge, but now that I've grown up I've realized for the first time that I'm actually the one among the people around me who knows plants best and had the most relaxed, carefree childhood.

So I'm very grateful to my mom and dad, and at the same time I think that when I become a mom I must give my child a relaxed, carefree childhood full of knowledge about life.

Born in a place with four distinct seasons, in spring besides enjoying lots of flowers you can also dig up lots of wild vegetables. These past few weekends I've been digging up some shepherd's purse, dandelion, and white wormwood. Yesterday after work when I went to get my car I actually discovered some wild goji trees in the parking lot (outdoors) at my workplace, so I picked a handful of fresh tender shoots and made a plate of cold-dressed goji greens when I got home. This flavor is the one I can never forget, because when I was little there were so many goji trees in the yard, and every spring my family would pick a handful of goji tender shoots and dress them cold every day - the taste is super fresh. So for me, spring is warm and also a fresh little happiness.

Spring is here, and besides enjoying flowers and picking wild vegetables we can also grow these 21 succulents!
