Must-have Phalaenopsis varieties recommended, which ones are worth buying?
Today I'm going to take a proper look at six must-have Phalaenopsis (moth orchid) varieties. Every single one is gorgeous, and beginners can pick them up with their eyes closed without stepping on a landmine.
Anna

As one of the most classic varieties, Anna has a medium-sized bloom that is just right - not so small that it goes unnoticed, and not so big that it shows off. The real stunner is the flower count: one flush can produce a dozen or more blooms packed tightly along the flower spike. And it is exceptionally long-lasting - a single bloom can hang on for over a month, and the whole plant can be enjoyed for two or three months. A solid "long-lasting looker".
White Swan

White Swan has snow-white petals all over, paired with an extra-large lip, and it comes with its own soft-focus filter wherever it sits. It is also a medium-sized bloomer, but the flower count is simply absurd - a single flower spike can send out twenty-plus blooms. And its leaves are small and compact, so even placed on a small coffee table or in a corner of a desk it takes up no space. It is not afraid of summer heat either, with excellent heat tolerance. For lazy beginners growing it, there is basically nothing to worry about - just don't water too often and it will burst into bloom.
Can Xue (Lingering Snow)

As a rare summer-blooming variety among Phalaenopsis, Can Xue is practically a "blooming workhorse"-keep"blooming"! Once the earlier flowers fade, the buds behind them immediately push out, one flush after another, blooming from late spring all the way into late autumn - for more than half the year there are flowers on the branches, and the home always has life in it. And it is famously a "fighter among the ordinary varieties"
Salmon
Salmon is absolutely the "color-changing magician" among Phalaenopsis! A medium-flowered type, its petals quietly change their look over time. When it first opens it is a pale salmon pink; as it goes on it shows orange tones; and later it leans pink-purple. Every single bloom is unique, and you can see several colors on the same plant. Even better, it has super-long staying power - a single bloom can last over two months, changing color while it blooms, so every day there is a new surprise. Place it on the balcony and snap a casual photo, and it is a like-harvesting machine for your social feed.
Red Martin
Red Martin is absolutely a "blooming machine""blooming freedom"
Romblon
Romblon, a representative of the large-flowered European-type Phalaenopsis, has extra-large petals, with pink-and-white lines outlined on the lip, refined yet grand. It is practically tailor-made for lazy growers: an occasional forgotten watering or fluctuating temperatures will not affect its blooming, and its flowering period is super long - a single plant can be enjoyed for three or four months. Placed in the living room as decoration, it instantly lifts the style of the home, and even for a plant killer, growing it brings a full sense of accomplishment.
