Recommended Plant Combinations for Mixed Containers and How to Choose Them
As soon as spring arrives, putting together a little spring garden comes down to one key thing: the right flower combinations. Today I am sharing several pairings with you.
Sunflower + Morning glory:

The sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is an annual herb in the family Asteraceae, genus Helianthus
Care: Sunflowers love light and need plenty of sunlight; keep the soil moist, watering when it dries and letting it dry out between waterings. Morning glories are highly adaptable and tolerant of drought, so do not water them too much; the more sun they get, the more vivid their flowers
Geranium + Lobelia:

Geranium (Pelargonium) is a perennial herb with rich flower colors, and its flowers form tight, ball-shaped clustersbreathtakingly beautiful
Care: Geranium likes a warm environment with plenty of sunlight; water in moderation and avoid waterlogging. Lobelia likes cool conditions, needs plenty of light, and the soil should be kept slightly moist.
French marigold + Nasturtium:

French marigold (Tagetes patula) is an annual herb in the family Asteraceae, genus Tagetes, with orange petals marked with red spots, bright and striking
Care: French marigolds and nasturtiums are both very drought-tolerant and love sunlight; do not water too frequently, and wait until the soil is completely dry before watering.
Tulip+Hyacinth:

Tulip (Tulipa) is a perennial herb in the family Liliaceae, genus Tulipa, with elegant flower shapes and a wide range of colors
Care: Both tulips and hyacinths can be grown from bulbs; they like loose, airy soil. After planting, first place them in a cool spot, then move them to a spot with plenty of light once they have rooted. Water in moderation to prevent root rot.
Petunia+Million Bells:

Petunia is a perennial herb in the family Solanaceae, genus Petunia, with large, abundant flowers and rich colors
Care: Both like plenty of sunlight and a warm environment; during the growing period, make sure they get enough water and nutrients, and promptly trim off spent flowers.
Tree peony+Chinese peony:

Tree peony is a perennial deciduous shrub in the family Paeoniaceae, genus Paeonia, with huge flowers and vivid colors
Care: Both love light and are strongly cold-hardy; the soil needs to be loose, fertile and well-draining. Do not water too much, and apply fertilizer promptly after sprouting in spring and after flowering.
