What plants cannot be kept in spring rain? Does floral water harm plants?
Before spring arrives, there are always several heavy rains, and this is also a major process in the growth of all things. However, although rainwater contains many trace elements and is excellent for flower growth, there are also some flowers and plants that are not suited to being rained on. If they accidentally get too much rain, they may die the very next day. If the place where you live happens to be in the rainy season, be sure to move them back indoors for care.

Cyclamen
Cyclamen flowers are shaped like rabbit ears and come in many colors. They have long been one of the plants kept by many people in the Lingnan region. However, because its leaves are covered with fine down, when watering normally you must be careful not to let water droplets touch the leaves and flowers. Otherwise, the moisture will not evaporate and will cause rot, which then spreads to the flowers. So during the rainy season, if they are being kept on a balcony, they must be moved back indoors.

Care tips: Cyclamen likes a warm, humid environment with plenty of sunlight, and prefers temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees. If conditions allow, it is best to give it 4 to 5 hours of sunlight contact each day. As for daily watering, do not be too eager; you can be a little lazier and water it only when its leaves begin to soften.

Gloxinia
Gloxinia, also called by the alias Luoxuini, originated in Brazil. The whole plant is small and delicate, with large flowers and thick, deep green leaves, making it look very appealing. Among flower growers it has the reputation of being the "queen of the greenhouse." In terms of care, it also cannot be rained on, because both the flowers and leaves have a lot of fine down. If it is rained on, the pores are easily blocked, causing the leaves and roots to turn yellow and rot. Therefore, during rainy seasons it must also be moved back indoors.

Care tips: Gloxinia likes a warm, humid environment and can tolerate semi-shade. In the south, in winter, it only needs to stay no lower than 10 degrees Celsius. As for watering, although moisture is the main thing, you cannot water from the leaf surface or flowers; you need to pour water slowly from the edge of the pot soil. In daily care, even if the environment feels dry, do not use a spray bottle to sprinkle water on the leaves, otherwise the plant will lose vitality and its appearance will be affected.

Clivia
Clivia is called the "flower of wealth and honor." Its leaves are thick and emerald green, and its flowers are large and beautiful. Its leaves have a waxy texture, so if there are water droplets, they will flow along the leaves toward the leaf core. This situation easily causes water accumulation and leaf rot, so more attention must be paid when caring for it during rainy days.

Care tips: The growth temperature is around 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. It likes loose, fertile, well-drained, slightly acidic organic soil. During the growing season, appropriately apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to extend the flowering period.
