One of the most common orchids in China, "Cymbidium ensifolium", is also called the four-season orchid. Its leaves are green, its flower colors are rich, and after blooming it has a light fragrance. It is also relatively simple to care for: it tolerates heat and cold, grows vigorously, and can be grown in the ground or in pots. Different varieties bloom at slightly different times, and flowers can usually be seen from May to December.

Its potted features are semi-drooping leaves with silver edges, and after the flowers open there is a small pink patch at the base of the lip; it mostly blooms in autumn, when it opens in full flower with an extremely large number of blooms.
