In terms of form, some have flowers densely packed on the flower spike, forming a cascade of blooms, while others have sparse flowers, each one arranged in a staggered, orderly way, making people feel absolutely delighted when they look at them. So, after beginners bring one home, what should they pay attention to?

On the flower-growing journey, a fellow flower lover asked: "I want to grow flowers at home so they are all neat and tidy, with each spike roughly the same size - is that really so hard to achieve? Articles online say that when growing flowers, either the light is uneven, or the watering amount is not controlled well, and you can take care of this pot but not that one, so the flowers end up growing crooked and lopsided. Some flowers grow like crazy, while others are always wilted - no matter how you look at them, they are not uniform, which is really a headache."

Based on the needs of the flower lover mentioned above, if you want the flowers at home to be uniform in size from spike to spike, it is not impossible - you just have to pay attention to quite a few things. First, nutrients must keep up, and conditions like light must also be stable. This is like us people eating meals - we need to eat our fill and eat well at every meal. Flowers are the same: only with enough light do they have the strength to grow well.

Second, the temperature must not be too high - it is best to keep it between 15 and 25 degrees at all times. If the temperature is too high, the nutrients the flowers absorb all go into growing stems and leaves, leaving nothing for blooming, so naturally the flowers take different lengths of time to grow, and their sizes end up inconsistent.

Also, the humidity should ideally be similar to that of the original environment used to force flowering. If the environment changes, especially if the humidity drops, the flowers will adjust their physiological state on their own to adapt, and this adjustment can affect the quality of blooming. The same result follows: the flower sizes easily end up uneven.

Finally, different cultivars have different characteristics. Some cultivars, even if conditions are slightly worse, can still maintain a decent level of blooming afterward. But some cultivars are especially sensitive - large white-flowered and large red-flowered cultivars are relatively sensitive types, and large white-flowered ones in particular have very high environmental requirements. In addition, when it comes to care, try not to place the flowers in a spot with too good ventilation - too much wind will also interfere with the flowers' normal growth and affect the consistency of their bloom size.
