A very important traditional festival in our country. During festivals, many flower lovers like to go to flower shops to buy some plants and flowers to decorate the home atmosphere and make the home feel more alive. So during the festival period, which plants are both beautiful and relatively easy to care for? Let us learn about them together, so that even if the light conditions at home are not good, you can still grow plants that bloom continuously.

Anthurium
Anthurium is known as an evergreen plant all year round and belongs to the Araceae family, Anthurium genus, a perennial herbaceous plant. In appearance, the flowers are large and pure red, looking very festive, and the flowering period is also especially long. A single flower can last 2 to 3 months, and the overall flowering period can last up to a year, with very high ornamental value. It can be placed in a spot with scattered light, such as the living room, study, or by the window of an east or west balcony. In terms of care, the watering principle is to water when the soil is dry and stop when it is wet. Never expose it to harsh sun, otherwise it easily develops yellow leaves, dry tips, and similar problems.

If the air is especially dry, frequently spray water mist around the plant to raise the overall air humidity. Doing this can make the anthurium grow more vigorously and bloom more brilliantly.

Gloxinia
Gloxinia is native to Brazil. The whole plant is small and delicate, with large flowers and thick, deep green leaves, looking very appealing. At the same time, as long as the temperature is suitable, it is one of the flowers that bloom very diligently, and it has extremely high ornamental value when placed at home.

In terms of care, it likes a warm and humid environment and can tolerate semi-shade. In the south, as long as winter does not go below 10°C, it can generally pass through safely. For watering, keep the soil mainly moist. Do not water from the leaves or flowers; slowly water from the edge of the pot. For fertilizing, use phosphorus and potassium fertilizer before flowering, and after flowering use Huaduoduo No. 2 or monopotassium phosphate, which can make the plant bloom more abundantly.
African violet
African violet belongs to the Gesneriaceae family, Saintpaulia genus. Its features are a large number of flowers, many flower colors, and a long flowering period. The whole plant is low-growing, very suitable for families with not much square footage.

Its native place is in tropical regions, so it likes a warm, humid, semi-shaded growing environment. In summer, if it does not exceed 30 degrees, and in winter, if it does not go below 12 degrees, it can basically be grown well. For usual watering, keep the soil moist. If you cannot judge, you can touch the soil with your hand to feel it before watering. It is recommended to water once every two days.
