Today I absolutely have to recommend a stunningly beautiful Phalaenopsis Jinma! It is sure to become the most eye-catching presence in your home this spring.

Phalaenopsis Jinma is a small to medium-sized plant with a slender, elegant and lively form. It takes up hardly any space, and whether you place it on a windowsill, a desk, or the coffee table in the living room, it fits just right and looks full of refinement.

Jinma's flower color is truly outstanding. When the blooms first open, they are a rich mango yellow, like a fully ripe mango giving off a tempting sheen. As time goes on, the color gradually fades to a gentle goose yellow, and this gradual shift in color is truly fascinating.

The most delightful surprise is that Jinma produces a great many flower spikes. Once it reaches its blooming season, the spikes are densely packed with blossoms, opening into a big cluster that is wonderfully lively. Displayed at home during the New Year, it instantly fills the space with a festive mood, and when family and friends visit, they are sure to praise how beautiful it looks. What's more, Phalaenopsis already carries a lovely meaning, symbolizing happiness flying to you, and Jinma makes that beauty tangible, letting you feel an abundance of happiness right at home.

It is not hard to grow either. Give it plenty of bright, indirect light in daily care, keep it at 15 - 25°C, a comfortable temperature, and do not water too often; just wait until the potting medium is dry and then water thoroughly.

Care Tips:

Light: In spring, autumn and winter, place it on an east- or south-facing windowsill with 4 - 6hours of bright, indirect light per day; in summer, shade it to prevent scorching.

Temperature: 15 - 25°C is ideal; in summer do not exceed 30°C, and in winter do not let it drop below 10°C, so keep it warm.

Watering: Water thoroughly only after the potting medium dries out, following the wet-dry cycle principle, and avoid waterlogging and getting water in the crown of the plant.

Potting medium: Use a breathable, free-draining mix of sphagnum moss, bark and coconut coir, and repot every spring.

Things to Note:

Fertilize with a weak solution and do it often; during the growing season, use a dilute orchid-specific fertilizer 1 - 2times a month; before the blooming season, add extra phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to help it produce more and more beautiful flowers. Do not fertilize during the dormant period, as it can easily burn the roots.

After the flowers fade, promptly cut off the spent blooms; counting up from the base of the flower stem, cut at the 2 - 3node, which reduces nutrient consumption and may even bring a second round of blooms!
