Is Phalaenopsis Fangmei Mythos a large-flowered or small-flowered orchid? Does Phalaenopsis Fangmei Mythos have a long flowering period?
Phalaenopsis Fangmei Shenhua10.5cm in diameter, belongs to the large-flowered type. Its petals are almond yellow with a slight white tinge, and the lip is lemon yellow, creating a clever contrast within the same color family, like a breath of fresh air on a hot summer day, bringing a touch of coolness.

This orchid is very similar to the yellow-green large-flowered variety Lyu Ruyi. However, on closer inspection, the center of Fangmei Shenhua's flowers tends more toward white, and the two lower petals are speckled; while Lyu Ruyi's petals are pure with no speckles, and the overall color is more emerald green

The flowering period of Phalaenopsis Fangmei Shenhua is relatively long. In a suitable environment, it can stay in bloom for2-3months. With proper care, it can even be extended to4months. Its natural flowering period is generally from4-6month, but through artificial regulation, its beauty can now be enjoyed during important festivals such as the Spring Festival, adding a warm atmosphere to the holiday.

Care Tips
Light: It needs bright, indirect light and should be kept out of direct strong sunlight. You can place it indoors near a window and use a curtain to block excessively strong light to prevent the leaves from scorching.

Temperature: The suitable growing temperature is15-28°C. In winter, keep it warm; temperatures below10°C will affect growth; in summer, when temperatures exceed32°C, increase ventilation and cooling.

Watering: It likes moisture but is afraid of waterlogging. Follow the principle of "water when dry, dry out between waterings" insert your finger2-3centimeters into the growing medium, and water when it feels dry. Watering is best done in the morning, and in winter the water temperature should be close to room temperature.

Fertilizing: During the peak growing season, apply1-2times a month a dilute liquid fertilizer, and before the flowering period increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to promote flower bud differentiation. Fertilize lightly and frequently, and avoid concentrated fertilizer that can burn the roots.

Growing medium: Choose well-aerated sphagnum moss, bark, etc. as the growing medium, and replace it every1-2years to ensure healthy root growth.
