Is the Phalaenopsis 'Bumblebee' a large-flowered variety, and how long is its blooming period?
Today I want to introduce you to a very distinctive Phalaenopsis orchid - the Bumblebee Phalaenopsis

It is a medium-to-large-flowered type with full, plump blooms. The petals are pure yellow, as if dusted with golden powder by the sunlight. The center of the flower is white, appearing especially pure against the yellow petals. And its lip is yellow with red, like the finishing touch, adding a unique charm to the entire flower.

The Bumblebee Phalaenopsis typically blooms from late winter to early spring each year, and the bloom generally lasts for 2-3months. Its ornamental period is fairly long, and in a suitable environment it can add a unique touch of vitality and beauty to the indoors.

The Bumblebee Phalaenopsis is relatively easy to grow. It has a strong ability to adapt to its environment and can grow well in an ordinary indoor setting.

Light: The Bumblebee Phalaenopsis prefers a semi-shaded environment, so it can be placed in a bright indoor spot that avoids direct sunlight. For example, a spot near a window ensures plenty of light without scorching the leaves from direct sun. Giving it about 6-8hours of diffused light per day helps the plant carry out photosynthesis and maintain good growth.

Temperature: The suitable growing temperature for it is between 15-3 0°C. In winter, when the temperature drops below 10°C, take good care to keep it warm. You can move it to a warm indoor spot to avoid the low temperature affecting the plant's growth. During the high temperatures of summer, pay attention to ventilation and cooling to prevent excessively high temperatures from harming the plant.
Watering: Follow the principle of "water when dry, and water thoroughly when you do," watering once a week. When watering, water thoroughly so the soil fully absorbs the moisture, but avoid waterlogging. Too much standing water can easily cause root rot. You can insert a finger about 2-3cm into the soil, and if it feels dry, you can water.

Fertilizing: During the growing period, apply a dilute liquid fertilizer once every 1-2weeks. For the liquid fertilizer, you can choose a compound fertilizer containing elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to provide the plant with ample nutrients. Because growth is slow in winter, reduce the amount of fertilizer.
Humidity: The Bumblebee Phalaenopsis likes an environment with higher air humidity. You can mist around the plant or use a humidifier to keep the air humidity between 60%-80%
