Key points for growing and caring for Phalaenopsis Ferrara at home:

Soil choice: air permeability is the key. Pine bark, sphagnum moss and the like are excellent potting medium choices; they let Ferrara's roots breathe freely and grow happily.

Watering tips: when watering, you must hold back a little; don't be too eager. Gently put your finger into the soil  1 - 2 cm deep, and only when it feels dry is it the right time to water. Usually, watering once every one to ten days is enough. When watering, slowly pour along the edge of the pot and let the water seep in gradually; be sure to avoid waterlogging, or the roots may rot.

Light conditions: a bright environment with no direct light is Ferrara's favorite. For example, a spot by the window with a thin sheer curtain drawn over it is its perfect habitat. This way it can enjoy plenty of light without being scorched by harsh light.

Temperature control: the temperature should be kept steadily between  15 - 28°C. In winter, make sure to keep it warm and don't let it get cold; in summer, also pay attention to heat protection and cooling, and don't let it sit in a hot, stuffy environment.

Fertilizing tips: be sure to remember the principle of light fertilizer, applied frequently. During the vigorous growing season, use diluted orchid-specific fertilizer and apply it  1 - 2 times a month to help it grow strong. Before it blooms, adding a little phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can encourage it to produce more flower spikes and bloom with even more brilliant flowers.
