What temperature is suitable for flowers that bloom in winter, and what should be noted when caring for plants in winter?
Generally speaking, in winter, flowers and plants should be kept in a relatively warm place indoors. However, many people do not know what temperature should be maintained after bringing them indoors for the plants' benefit. In fact, different varieties of flowers and plants bloom at different temperatures, so the temperature is not uniform. Sometimes too high a temperature is instead unfavorable for flowering. Below are several plants that bloom in winter and the temperatures they each need.
Bougainvillea
Bougainvillea, also called paperflower, is native to Brazil and likes relatively hot climates. The suitable temperature is around 15-30 degrees. If you want it to bloom in winter, it must be placed in a spot with a relatively high indoor temperature.

Generally, bougainvillea can be kept at around 25-30 degrees during the day to bloom well, and the nighttime temperature difference can be less than 10 degrees. When the surrounding temperature is generally only around 10-15 degrees, it will not bloom and will only grow branches and leaves. If the winter temperature is below 10 degrees, it may die outright.
Christmas cactus
The growing temperature for Christmas cactus is similar to that of bougainvillea. Its place of origin is also Brazil, and the suitable growing temperature is around 18-25 degrees. Compared with bougainvillea, its temperature requirements are somewhat lower than those for bougainvillea.
When caring for Christmas cactus, controlling the daytime temperature at around 28-30 degrees can promote better flowering, and the nighttime temperature can hover at less than about 10 degrees. If, when buds are forming, the surrounding temperature is below 10 degrees, the flowers cannot open and may drop. Also, indoors it must not be higher than 24 degrees, otherwise flower buds will likewise be difficult to differentiate. In addition, after the Christmas cactus blooms, placing it at a room temperature of 10-15 degrees can keep its flowering period for about 10 days, while in a warmer environment of more than 20 degrees, it can only be maintained for 3-5 days.

Cyclamen
Generally, when growing flowers in winter, everyone likes to choose cyclamen, because its flower colors are bright and its shape is beautiful, and it can also be placed in a relatively cool place, making it a flowering plant choice that can bloom in winter.

In terms of care, its suitable flowering temperature is around 12-20 degrees. It is recommended to maintain it at 20 degrees during the day and around 10 degrees at night. If the temperature is below 12 degrees, the buds may be difficult to open and it will only grow flower stems. If the temperature is above 20 degrees, even if the flowers open, they will quickly wither.
