Recommended Flowers for Cutting Propagation in November and Snake Plant Care Methods
Surely every household likes to grow some flowers and plants to improve our living environment, because most plants have air-purifying effects, and caring for them can also give people a feeling of calm. But does growing many flowers mean spending a lot of money? Actually not! Cutting propagation is a good choice. And different flower varieties have different suitable times for cutting propagation. Below, we will introduce plants suitable for cutting propagation in November.
Snake Plant
The snake plant (Sansevieria) is a common green plant, and many people keep it at home. Its leaf patterns look like a tiger's, giving people a feeling of fierceness when placed indoors. Under normal circumstances, after keeping a snake plant for a long time, many small shoots will sprout from its roots, and too many small shoots will rob nutrients from the large plant. So at this time, we can do cutting propagation or division propagation for it.

As autumn and winter arrive and the weather turns cold, this is a good time to propagate the snake plant. The cutting method is not too difficult: choose a healthy leaf that has not rotted and cut off a section. Then cut the leaf into small sections each about 10 cm long. Finally, put garden soil in a flowerpot, insert the small leaf sections into the soil, water on time afterward, and place the flowerpot in a cool, ventilated place away from strong light. After about 1 month, roots will grow, and then you can transplant them into small flowerpots for normal care.
Jade Plant
The jade plant's glossy green leaves are a favorite of many flower lovers, and since it is a succulent, being a bit lazy with its daily care is completely fine.
Generally speaking, autumn and winter are the most suitable times for cutting propagation. The specific method is to first pick a relatively thick leaf from the jade plant, then prepare a flowerpot with some coarse sand in it, water it thoroughly, and then insert the leaf directly onto the moist soil. After cutting, do not place it under fierce sunlight; it can only be placed in scattered light. After about half a month, once it has rooted, transplant the rooted leaf into a small flowerpot, and gradually it will grow into a new jade plant.

Madagascar Periwinkle
Madagascar periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) has always been deeply loved by flower lovers because it is extremely easy to care for. After new flowers bloom, the flower quantity is very large, and the flowers are petite and cute. It is a flower that blooms in all four seasons.

After the Madagascar periwinkle flowers fade, you can also take cuttings from it. The steps are to first find a healthy mother plant free of pests and diseases and cut from it, usually 5-10 cm long, and each cutting should contain at least 3 nodes. After cutting it out, insert it into the growing medium. First make a slanted cut on the branch to increase the contact area with the soil. After inserting, gently press the soil to ensure the cutting stands stable and does not fall over. After about 15-20 days, the branch will grow roots.
