What vegetables can be grown in an indoor kitchen?
On a scorching summer day, have you ever hesitated to step into the kitchen because of the blazing sun? Even with the air conditioning on, a sunlit kitchen still feels intimidating. However, did you know that even in such an environment, some vegetables can still grow healthily? Let's take a look below at which vegetables these are.
Garlic sprouts
Garlic sprouts can be considered one of the most common vegetables, rich in protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, and more, as well as minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, and zinc. In the kitchen, garlic sprouts can be grown from garlic cloves in soil or hydroponically. First, choose healthy garlic cloves, place them in well-drained soil, maintain appropriate moisture and temperature, then water and fertilize regularly. After about 2-3 weeks, the garlic cloves will sprout and grow into garlic sprouts. For hydroponic growing, simply keeping the water clear is enough for them to grow easily.

Yellow chives
Yellow chives are a side ingredient many families love to use, and their growing method is relatively simple. First, you need to prepare fresh chives, wash them clean, and soak them in clear water for about 15 minutes. Then, take the chives out and gently wipe their surface with a damp cloth to remove excess moisture. Next, place the prepared chives in a container with good air permeability; the size of the container should be determined by the amount of chives. Spread a thin layer of soil on the bottom of the container, then plant the chives evenly on the soil. Finally, place the container in a spot with suitable temperature and sufficient light, water once a day, and keep the soil moist. After about a week, the chives will begin to sprout and grow into yellow chives.

Sprouts

Sprouts are also what everyone often eats, such as soybeans, mung beans, mung bean sprouts, and more. Growing them in the kitchen is also very simple: soak the seeds you need in clear water, then put the soaked seeds in a clear plastic cup, or you can use a bean sprout growing box. Finally, place the container in a warm place with sufficient light, water once a day, and keep the soil moist. After about 3-5 days, the seeds will sprout and become edible sprouts.
