Bubble roses come in a variety of colors and shapes. How are they different from ordinary roses?
Roses are one of the flowers that many women love, so in recent years many other rose varieties have been derived, such as the spray rose known as the bubble rose. Their distinguishing features are the large number of flower buds, the tender, lustrous color, and the small, cute flower shape; in appearance they are remarkably similar to ordinary roses. So how should everyone distinguish bubble roses from ordinary roses in daily life?
Bubble rose, also known as Bordeaux rose, has layer upon layer of petals, like a fluffy sphere, and its size is similar to that of a soap bubble, which is why it is called the bubble rose. Ordinary roses, on the other hand, mostly tend toward a flat or slightly curled shape, and overall they do not look as full as bubble roses, but each individual flower is larger than those of the bubble rose.
To analyze in detail, a single stem of a bubble rose usually has more than 3 branches, with 3 to 5 flowers on each branch. In color, it is usually dominated by soft pink or pale purple, mostly in relatively soft pastel shades, and after blooming it may carry a fruity fragrance and a faint vanilla scent. An ordinary rose, by contrast, has one large flower per stem and no side branches. Its colors span a wider range, covering everything from deep red to white, and on to yellow and blue. The flowers basically have no fragrance, and only a few white ones have a delicate scent.
In addition, because the bubble rose is a completely newly derived rose variety, its subdivisions include Yuanyang Bubble, Juice Bubble, Misty Bubble, and White Bubble. Yuanyang Bubble is characterized by bicolor growth, with flower colors of purple and white; Juice Bubble is characterized by orange-yellow flower color, a long vase life, and resistance to gray mold; Misty Bubble is characterized by an Austin-style flower shape, with flower colors mostly pink-purple, layer upon layer and very elegant and romantic; White Bubble is characterized by many thick petals, so it is not prone to flower damage. Therefore, overall, bubble roses sell for a higher price than ordinary roses.
Finally, in terms of care, bubble roses may need more maintenance, such as regular pruning and special fertilizers, to maintain their unique flower shape and healthy growth, while certain ordinary rose varieties are relatively cold-tolerant and drought-tolerant, with lower care requirements.
