Hyacinth Water Culture: Fast Sprouting and Post-Bloom Care Methods
I believe many people find bulb flowers difficult to grow. The main reason is that bulbs have high requirements for their growing environment, such as specific temperature and light, and even fertilizer needs to be specially formulated. In short, caring for bulbs requires considerable patience and care.

In fact, some friends feel that no matter what they plant, it easily dies. Is growing bulbs really that difficult? It really is not! Today the editor recommends a bulb flower for everyone - the hyacinth.
The hyacinth is an easy-to-grow plant, and its flowers are also super beautiful with a long blooming period. When a gentle breeze blows, you can even smell its fragrance. Hyacinths bought on the market are generally divided into water culture and soil culture. For soil culture, flower lovers only need to give it more sun and fertilizer, and basically it can be maintained normally with little management. For water culture, the care is relatively more particular.

First, for a bulb just bought from the market, you need to prepare a bottle suitable for water culture, then add an appropriate amount of water. The water level should be about 5 cm from the bottle mouth, then put the bulb in. What needs attention here is that if the bulb has no roots, the water must not touch the bottom of its roots, otherwise it will easily rot. Finally, cover the water culture bottle with a black bag. This process can accelerate rapid rooting. After the root tendrils have grown out, remove the bag.
For daily care, place it in a place with plenty of sunlight and give it more sun. The growing temperature is around 10-15°C. The water level in the water culture should always be maintained at about one-third or one-quarter height, making sure the water does not cover the bottom of the bulb. After that, just change the water about every 3~5 days.
If your hyacinth has already bloomed this year, do not throw it away either. Follow the method I teach you, and it can still bloom next year. First cut off the flower stalk, that is, the flower head and stem part, then take out the bulb and put it back in the bottle, or put it in a flowerpot, apply fertilizer once a month, and occasionally let it get some sun. In this way, the growth of the bulb can be promoted.
