Advantages of the Eden Rose:

The Eden Rose bears light pink or pale white flowers; the flower shape is very beautiful and charming, and the fragrance is mild and elegant. A mature Pink Dragon can bear 400-500 flowers, and with good care it can bear over a thousand. The Pink Dragon has large, glossy leaves and relatively strong disease resistance, so it does not fall ill easily. The Pink Dragon has fewer petals than the Red Dragon, but its flower shape is very beautiful; the petal thickness is similar to the Red Dragon, and compared with most ordinary climbers the petals are slightly thicker, appearing full. It tolerates sun and rain better than ordinary roses, the flowers stay on the branch for a long time, and it looks like an artificial flower - - it is very good as a cut flower. It is not suitable for a balcony but suitable for ground planting; the plant is strong and tall, grows fast, and has particularly strong disease resistance. Plant size: about 5M tall * 4M wide. It is especially suitable for making flower walls and archways.

Disadvantages of the Eden Rose:

The only disadvantage of the Eden Rose is that it blooms once a year, flowering only in spring and early summer, with few flowers in autumn. With very good care, the Pink Eden Rose can still rebloom a small amount, so this flower can only be viewed for one season. It is not recommended to plant it in regions without vernalization, such as the Guangdong and Guangxi region, Hainan, and Taiwan, China. However, the beauty of the Pink Dragon is very special, tender and gentle, impeccable, a particularly romantic beauty, and it is still the beloved favorite of many flower lovers. It is the one most checked in and posted about every year.

How to care for the Eden Rose:

1.Choosing the flower pot
The Eden Rose is a large climber and needs plenty of sunlight. The flower pot must be deep enough, otherwise in rainy seasons it is very prone to root rot and death.

2..Soil preparation
For rose care, soil is also very important. For the soil mix, I choose an appropriate blend of peat soil, vermiculite, perlite, coconut coir, plant ash, and chicken manure or sheep manure fertilizer. When potting up, spread a layer of ceramsite at the bottom of the pot as a drainage layer.

3.Light and ventilation
The Eden Rose loves light; the best is an open-air growing environment, or an open south-facing balcony can also be tried, and ground planting is best if possible.

4.Water
The Eden Rose has a fairly high water demand, generally once a day, and especially during high summer temperatures it needs watering twice a day to replenish water in time and keep the soil slightly moist. On rainy days, prevent water from accumulating at the bottom of the pot and drain it in time.

5.Fertilizer
The Pink Dragon needs frequent fertilizing. During the growing period, 10days or so, drench the roots and spray the leaves with Peter's No. 1, and during bud formation or after flowering use Peter's No. 2 or monopotassium phosphate to promote flowers and the sprouting of new branches.

6.Pests and diseases
Roses are very prone to pests and diseases, though the Pink Dragon has relatively fewer, but prevention and treatment are still needed. The pests and diseases the Pink Dragon is most prone to are spider mites and thrips:

a.Spider mites are relatively hard to eradicate, so relevant medications must always be kept on hand: Jinmanzhi, Aikaman, Manwei, abamectin, etc. When spider mites are severe, -you must persist with spraying once every three days, three times in a row, to be effective. In addition, in dry weather you can rinse the leaf surface with water, washing both the front and the back, which can also have a certain therapeutic effect.

b.Treating thrips is relatively simple; spraying insecticides such as acetamiprid and imidacloprid twice in a row can generally bring them under control.

C.Prevention is more important than treatment. When there are no pests or diseases, about once a week to ten days, spray fungicides (chlorothalonil, mancozeb, carbendazim, etc.) and insecticides alternately, and at the same time you can mix in water-soluble phosphorus-potassium fertilizer -and spray the leaf surface together, and also drench the roots. In spring and autumn, spray 2 times or so of lime sulfur mixture to clean the garden. Speaking of this, I immediately recall that smell, which is truly unpleasant.

8.Repotting
The Pink Dragon should be repotted and given fresh soil once each year in spring and autumn when the temperature rises, to prepare for the next year's flowering, because the Pink Dragon's flowering period is in spring and summer.
