The outbreak of the pandemic triggered dramatic changes in global society, economy, and politics, leading people to focus on reviewing the way they treat ecology and to explore a future of harmonious coexistence with all things on Earth. Excellent Green Farmers Company uses eco-agriculture to develop various camps and courses for body, mind, and spirit. Chung Chih-chung, who developed chick rental, graduated from Taipei Medical University and has returned to his hometown to farm, running Brother-in-Law Farm, which mainly operates a chicken-raising business, for five years. He cannot bear that chickens can live up to 7 years, yet due to commercial considerations, they are slaughtered and used after a few months at the farm. Through his background in medicine and pharmacy, he uses healthy enzymes and probiotics and developed the odor-free chicken-raising "chick rental" business model, hoping that chickens' lives can be extended, rather than being merely economic animals to satisfy human appetite.

After trying chick rental for a while, he unexpectedly discovered that many families who took chicks home to raise reopened opportunities for parent-child dialogue through raising chicks, improving relationships between many parents, children, and family members. After discussion with Excellent Green Farmers, a social enterprise also located in the Sanqiashui rural area of Longtan District, they extended and developed Healing Chicks, an online life education course combined with psychological healing courses.

Kuo Yu-chien, who runs Excellent Green Farmers, pointed out that the chickens raised at Brother-in-Law Farm are mainly Three-Yellow Bearded Chickens, Beijing You Chickens, and Taihe Silkie Chickens. These chickens are colorful and have super cute appearances, making people feel healed at first sight. Through the process of parents and children hatching eggs or raising chickens together, opportunities for parent-child dialogue can be continuously opened.

Kuo Yu-chien stated that in the course, a blind-test questionnaire will first be used to analyze the current state of relationships. Through scientific testing, participants can systematically understand their inner selves, and through the system find the five love languages and their order in relationships. Then a professional psychologist will lead participants to use the love languages to break down the importance and meaning of different patterns to themselves. In the course, students can "understand their own needs" and "practice the ability to love and be loved." These lessons about love can help reduce misunderstandings between people, making couples sweeter, parent-child relationships closer, and friendships firmer.
