New Taipei Accelerates Post-Pandemic Industrial Recovery, Economic Development Department to Hold High-Value Doubling Investment Promotion Conference

(Taiwan TB News Network / Reporter Sun Yao-chang) New Taipei City - To accelerate post-pandemic industrial recovery, the "New Taipei High-Value Doubling Investment Promotion Conference" will be held on November 30 at the New Taipei Hilton Hotel. The 3 major themes include "Land Investment Matchmaking Session," "Job Fair," and "Celebrity Forum," hoping to integrate public and private land, factories, and talent needs, boost confidence in investment, business attraction, and operations, and create a wonderful city where people can live and work in peace and contentment.

New Taipei City Economic Development Department Director He Yi-ming stated that this year, with the concept of "doubling down" on New Taipei's revitalization, the "2021 New Taipei High-Value Doubling Investment Promotion Conference" has been expanded. In addition to land investment matchmaking services, it is also the first time collaborating with the Employment Services Office to "double" the job fair, hoping that through investment enterprises substantively releasing job opportunities, the public will have a stronger sense of New Taipei's investment.

In terms of land investment matchmaking, this year is divided into 3 major aspects. First, in the "public land" aspect, land from the Economic Development Department, Land Administration Department, Finance Department, Rapid Transit Systems Department, Urban Renewal Office, and Market Administration Office has been specially gathered, releasing approximately 14 hectares of public land. In addition, for the first time, "private parks" land has been expanded to include, specially inviting "industrial zone three-dimensionalization" and "one-stop investment promotion" service cases, releasing 153,000 ping of the Xindian Baogao Park and private factory unit, including well-known properties "China Engineering Tucheng AI Smart Park" and "Yonghe Construction Taipei Park." Finally, in the "brokerage association" part, the New Taipei City Real Estate Brokerage Association is invited to provide relevant land, factories, factory offices, and commercial offices resources, through matchmaking consultation counters and investment promotion briefings, assisting enterprises in quickly finding the land they need.

The New Taipei City Economic Development Department stated that in terms of the job fair, many manufacturers from "industrial zone three-dimensionalization" and "one-stop investment promotion" service cases have been invited, including Hon Hai Group, Nanya Technology, China Engineering, Micro-Star International, Chicony Electronics, and Clevo, a total of 17 New Taipei enterprises participating together, releasing over 600 job vacancies, of which technical positions total more than 160, such as semiconductor design engineers, research and development engineers, product development engineers, metal mold design engineers, and management positions, actively seeking outstanding local talent in New Taipei.

Finally, the Celebrity Forum is also one of the event highlights, with the theme "Where will you be in the next 5 years?" inviting Colliers International General Manager Liu Xue-long and 3 land, industry, and human resources experts to share post-pandemic era industrial layout and changes in talent market demand, hoping to guide enterprises to grasp opportunities, transform and layout, and activate new momentum for the post-pandemic economy.
