New Taipei accelerates the "Sanxia-Yingge Cultural and Creative Integration Plan," charging toward Yingge Arts City

(Taiwan TB News Network / Reporter Sun Yaozhang) New Taipei City - It is planned to build 5 aesthetic corridor belts by 2030, among which the "Sanxia-Yingge Cultural and Creative Integration Plan" will be accelerated starting in 2021, opening the first page of "charging" toward Yingge Arts City. The city government's Public Works Bureau will also fully commit to the effort, starting with the renovation of four leisure routes surrounding the Yingge arts district, adopting the themes of "ceramics, art, mountains, and water." On one hand, this creates a safe and comfortable people-oriented environment; on the other, it allows the public to experience Yingge's local artistic atmosphere while walking.

Public Works Director Zhan Rongfeng formally explained the "Sanxia-Yingge Cultural and Creative Integration Plan" project to the public for the first time on the 17th, describing how humanistic and artistic concepts are integrated into the engineering to revitalize the Sanxia-Yingge area.

Zhan Rongfeng pointed out that the four routes being renovated this time are intended to let the public, on the walking section from the Ceramics Museum to Yingge Old Street, not only avoid conflicts between pedestrians and vehicles, but also experience a sense of art integrated with the Dahan River waterfront environment. For people arriving at Yingge Railway Station by train, along the planned route from Jianguo Road to Sunlong Trail, the first thing that comes into view is the green-themed imagery of "mountains," improving the existing sidewalk space, beautifying the street-corner plaza, and strengthening signage guiding people to the famous landmark "Yingge Stone." Next, they will see the "water" environment theme drawn from the Dahan River embracing Yingge, with blue as the main color, introducing flowing and rippling visual elements into the riverside path beside the Ceramics Museum and the Fenghua Trail that crosses the railway to connect to the old street.

The Public Works Bureau stated that "Ceramic Art, Mountains and Water" not only completes the pedestrian environment renovation, but also adjusts the area's wayfinding signs and tourist maps together, replacing old pedestrian signs from different periods with new ones and updating the signage system, using clear, explicit signs that also match local identity to guide people in exploring Yingge. Through the placement of sign points coordinated with the route alignment renovation, people can stroll along paths filled with artistic atmosphere. At the same time, it will actively seek central budget subsidies, hoping to gradually complete the renovation of the four routes starting in 2021, serving as the fuse for promoting "Yingge · Arts City," which will successively drive major projects such as the opening of the art museum in 2022, the completion of the MRT Sanxia-Yingge Line in 2023, and the second-phase reconstruction of the Sanxia-Yingge Bridge.

Zhan Rongfeng emphasized that the "Sanxia-Yingge Cultural and Creative Integration Plan" is linked with local artistic and cultural features such as the Yingge Ceramics Museum, Ceramics Old Street, Yingge Old Street, and the Hakka Park to form a cultural and artistic corridor. The public can also use the Sanxia-Yingge Bridge and MRT Sanxia-Yingge Line, both under construction, to break through regional barriers and make Sanxia-Yingge an important artistic tourism landmark in northern Taiwan.
