West Management Office promotes Daxilaya Tourism Circle Alliance, industry cooperation to revitalize tourism

To promote the development of tourism in the greater Silaya area, the Silaya National Scenic Area Management Office of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation held an inauguration conference on the 25th at the Tongmao Hot Spring Resort in Guanziling. Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che and Minister of Transportation Lin Chia-lung and other distinguished guests from all sectors attended to show their support, hoping that through the establishment of the tourism circle, tourism resources in the greater Guanziling area can be integrated, and businesses encouraged to form cross-industry alliances to jointly create a brand-new tourism brand and achieve shared prosperity.

Mayor Huang Wei-che said he was very happy that the Daxilaya Tourism Circle Alliance could be established, with industries ranging from hot springs in the mountains to Wumile in the plains. He thanked the central government for integrating the commercial district toward more powerful and more coherent development, and hoped that through the alliance, during the upcoming Spring Festival and various tourism holidays, epidemic prevention work can be done well on the one hand, and related products such as food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and transportation can be well planned on the other, integrating the most beneficial promotion, creating the highest CP value, and everyone working together to revitalize tourism so that the tourism industry can achieve the best development.

With the launch of the Daxilaya Tourism Circle, multiple themed lectures and industry observation visits will continue to be held in the future, coaching local industries to build capacity and upgrade, linking elements such as food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and transportation, combining local specialty souvenirs or agricultural specialty products to plan themed itineraries, constructing a new regional tourism brand, and combining relevant channels to connect production and sales mechanisms, achieving the goals of local rooting and sustainable tourism, allowing the tourism industry to multiply each other's strengths and reach a mutually beneficial and win-win situation.

The inauguration conference of the Daxilaya Tourism Circle Alliance was attended by distinguished guests including Chang Hsi-tsung, Director-General of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation; Hsu Chu-lung, Director of the Silaya Management Office; Hung Chao-chang, Deputy Director of the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Management Office; Kuo Chen-hui, Director of the Tourism and Travel Bureau; Tung Li-hua, Baihe District Chief; Weng Chen-hsiang, Houbi District Chief; Legislators Chen Ting-fei, Kuo Kuo-wen, and Lai Hui-yuan; and Speaker Kuo Hsin-liang, as well as representatives of various tourism industry associations and business representatives.
