In response to the demand for the Spring Festival New Year period, Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan, Deputy Magistrate Hsieh Shu-ya, Douliu City Mayor Lin Sheng-jue, Gukeng Township Chief Shen Sheng-teng, Douliu City Farmers' Association Director-General Chang Chiao-fu, Gukeng Township Farmers' Association Director-General Yuan Chih-chien, and Agriculture Department Director Wu Fang-ming, among others, led many farmers from the county on the 12th to the Legislative Yuan and New Taipei City for marketing and promotion. Magistrate Chang Li-shan said that in order to take care of farmers, the county government continues to pay close attention to farmers' production and sales conditions. In addition to helping fruit farmers improve cultivation and management techniques and produce high-quality fruit, it is also committed to expanding sales channels for Murcott tangerines to increase added value, increase the sales volume of Murcott tangerines, and thereby improve fruit farmers' income. Murcott tangerines are an important agricultural product for the Spring Festival, and it is also hoped that friends from all walks of life will enthusiastically order Yunlin County Murcott tangerines, increase fruit farmers' confidence and income, and give Yunlin farmers the greatest support. The Yunlin County Agriculture Department has also cooperated with township offices and farmers' associations to launch discounted ordering plans, and will hold Murcott tangerine exhibition and sale activities on January 16 and 17 at the Taipei City Yuanshan Flower Expo Farmers' Market, hoping that northern residents will enthusiastically go to taste and purchase them.
