What should you do when some flowers won't bloom?

We often run into situations where some flowers won't bloom. What causes this? How can we improve it? Below, the editor will share this with everyone.

Variety selection: It is fairly common for flowers not to bloom, or to bloom less, because the wrong variety was chosen. Since this problem can be solved simply by choosing and growing flower varieties that readily bloom, the phenomenon of flowers blooming less due to variety can be avoided with just an adjustment.

Improper watering: Much cultivation experience shows that slightly dry potting soil is favorable for flowers to bloom. Especially for the vast majority of cacti, a period of drought before their flowering season is favorable for flower bud formation and blooming. If too much water is given at this stage, it can easily cause flowers not to bloom.

Reasonable fertilizing: Using only nitrogen fertilizer or applying too much fertilizer will both affect normal flowering. Using only nitrogen fertilizer often makes the branches and leaves grow excessively, hindering normal flowering; applying too much fertilizer can easily damage the root system of the flowers, which in turn affects blooming.

Adjusting light: Some flowers are sensitive to light, and if they cannot get the light they need, they will struggle to bloom. For example, lotus is hindered from blooming under conditions lacking light, while chrysanthemums struggle to form flower buds when the daily sunshine is too long, and often fail to bloom.

Unsuitable temperature: Although flowers such as Chinese hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis), jasmine, and water lily must be in a high-temperature environment to bloom normally, flowers such as lilac, forsythia, plum blossom, and wild peach must go through a period of low temperature before they can bloom smoothly. Therefore, different temperature treatments should be given according to different flowers, so that they bloom more.

The reasons why flowers won't bloom are roughly the points above. After reading what was said above, I believe everyone now has some ways to deal with flowers that won't bloom.
