In Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2020 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival, Taichung's Hospitality Industry Jointly Offers a Hundred Promotions

The 2020 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival enters its 10th year this year. The Taichung City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau has pioneered an "immersive floral experience," using "Alice's Floral Wonderland Adventure" as its theme to create a large maze made of three-dimensional floral installations, conveying the life philosophy found in the book. With a long exhibition period and a wide variety of flowers, it is very suitable for families with children and elders to visit together. Two-to-three-day itineraries are also arranged for visitors to enjoy the distinctive attractions across Taichung's mountain, coastal, rural and urban areas, stay at quality accommodations, and enjoy a wonderful holiday together as a family.

Lin Hsiao-chi, Director-General of the Tourism and Travel Bureau, stated that the 2020 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival runs for 23 days, and the bureau hopes to provide visitors to the flower carpet festival with the most favorable choices and a safe accommodation environment. Taichung's hospitality operators were specially invited to join in this annual tourism celebration and offer flower carpet festival promotions. A hundred operators enthusiastically rolled out various promotional packages, including accommodation discounts, use of stimulus vouchers to offset room charges, on-site lucky draw instant discounts, and free "fruit-picking experiences, sightseeing factory tickets, and dining vouchers" with stays, providing travelers with rich and diverse offers while fully echoing the theme and fun of the Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival.

The Taichung City Tourism and Travel Bureau noted that the 2020 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival will be open from November 14 to December 6, daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with free admission. The Taichung City Government also reminds visitors that upon entering the flower carpet festival exhibition area, they must wear masks at all times. Those with a fever (forehead temperature of 37.5°C or above) or not wearing a mask will be politely denied entry. Safe social distancing will be marked out at popular photo spots so that the public can tour the exhibition scenery with peace of mind.
