What effect does nitrogen fertilizer have on flowering in ornamental plants?

Nitrogen fertilizer needs to meet these key points: when used in an appropriate amount, it can promote the vegetative growth of ornamental plants and the production of chlorophyll, and at the same time it can also make flowers larger and increase the number of seeds; excessive use, however, will lead to delayed flowering, leggy growth of the plant, and reduced resistance to diseases.
