Is it okay to soak the roots of flowers with root rot in chlorothalonil?

You can use chlorothalonil to soak the roots of flowers with root rot. After the flowers develop root rot, first dig them out, let the roots dry, then soak them in diluted chlorothalonil solution for a few hours, after that cut off the rotten roots, replant them in a flower pot or water pot, and place them in a cool, ventilated spot for a week; this is mostly used for clivia (Clivia miniata), tomatoes, citrus, and so on.
