"Digital Transformation and Innovation: Grasping Business Opportunities at the Frontline" forum expands new business models

The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs yesterday (the 14th) held the "Digital Transformation and Innovation: Grasping Business Opportunities at the Frontline" forum at the Taipei World Trade Center Meeting Center, specially inviting iKala co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Cheng Kai-yin, Taiwan Amazon Web Services Co., Ltd. Director Ho Lu-ying, and Li Chi Technology Co., Ltd. founder Kuo Chia-fu to share key transformation factors for enterprises, expanding innovative energy and thinking for SMEs in business model development.

In response to the increasingly vigorous development of digital technology, making good use of digital tools and resources to optimize enterprise operating processes can not only reduce costs and improve production efficiency, but also precisely grasp global market trends and create competitiveness for enterprises. This year's forum took "Digital Transformation and Innovation: Grasping Business Opportunities at the Frontline" as its theme, with three speakers respectively presenting "Enterprise Digital Transformation: Deploying Innovative Strength," "Insight into Big Data: Driving New Business Models," and "Innovative Applications in the Cloud Generation," combining digital technology applications with case analysis from individual aspects to provide SMEs with reference countermeasures for facing digital challenges.

This forum attracted more than 200 attendees from enterprises in wholesale and retail, food and beverage, accommodation, and information and communications technology industries, as well as people from all walks of life, with enthusiastic responses on site. Digital transformation involves organizational and workforce restructuring for enterprises. For SMEs that are relatively lacking in resources, it is a considerable threshold. Business owners should clarify their own level of digitalization and needs, and for their core business activities, introduce corresponding appropriate solutions and tools, join the digital ranks as soon as possible, and maintain competitiveness.
