Nantou Chocolate and Coffee Festival at the Tea Expo: Nantou County Government Promotes New Industries

The inaugural Nantou Chocolate and Coffee Festival, held in conjunction with the Nantou World Tea Industry Expo, will take place from October 9 to 18 at the main field of Zhongxing New Village. The Nantou County Government held a promotional press conference in the county hall on the 5th, with County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen and World Beauty Queen Gao Man-rong serving as event ambassadors. A maid cafe pop-up cart was also arranged on site to build momentum for the event, filling the air with rich coffee and chocolate aromas. County Magistrate Lin Ming-chen stated that the Nantou World Tea Industry Expo, now in its 11th year, has achieved excellent revenue every year. To market Nantou's emerging industries such as chocolate and coffee, this year it has been specially combined with the Tea Expo for joint promotion, allowing chocolate, coffee and tea - three of Nantou's signature beverages - to be presented together. Through marketing and promotion, the aim is to let more people know about Nantou's high-quality agricultural products, drive industry marketing through tourism and create business opportunities.
