The Third CAS Domestic Fragrant Chicken Fillet Carnival moves to Taoyuan, promoting high-quality domestic chicken

Lee Hsien-ming, Deputy Mayor of Taoyuan City, went to Galaxy Plaza in Zhongli District yesterday afternoon (the 27th) to attend the Third CAS Domestic Fragrant Chicken Fillet Carnival held by the Taiwan District Electric Slaughter Industry Association, and stated that the annual output value of Taoyuan's livestock industry is about 4.5 billion. Among this, the domestic chicken industry chain is complete, and before slaughter every chicken is inspected one by one by official veterinarians to ensure meat hygiene and safety. Domestic chicken is springy and juicy, and fragrant chicken fillet is a national delicacy. By holding the CAS Domestic Fragrant Chicken Fillet Carnival, the public is encouraged to enthusiastically support high-quality domestic chicken.

Lin Tsung-hsien, Chairman of the Central Livestock Association, a foundation, stated that domestic chicken forms a complete industry chain from farm to table, and the production process meets standards of health, hygiene and safety. He believes that savvy consumers will certainly pay attention to production traceability. If the fragrant chicken fillet uses domestic chicken, it can also be traced, letting people eat with greater peace of mind.

Kuo Cheng-chuan, Director-General of the Taoyuan City Agriculture Bureau, stated that this year's CAS Domestic Fragrant Chicken Fillet Carnival specially invited 9 excellent chicken fillet vendors to participate, jointly offering a "buy one get one free" discount on 4,500 portions of fragrant chicken fillet; in addition, as long as people spend, check in, or take part in on-site activities, they have a chance to receive a "free chicken fillet voucher," with a total of 1,500 vouchers.
