The "2020 Yunlin Zhao'an Hakka Cultural Festival" will hold its opening ceremony at 6 p.m. on September 26 in the parking lot next to the Lunbei Township Library. This year's event takes "experience" as its main axis, with six major themes planned, including folk customs, Hakka language, martial arts, Kaizui Lion, glove puppetry and local specialty foods, presenting the diverse features of Zhao'an Hakka culture. The Yunlin County Government held a press conference at the Zhao'an Hakka Culture Hall on the 15th. County Magistrate Chang Li-shan, County Councilors Liao Wan and Yu Shu-yun, Lunbei Township Chief Li Hung-i, Errun Township Chief Chung Fu-chu, and County Government Cultural Affairs and Tourism Department Director Chen Pi-chun attended, inviting people from across the country to visit Yunlin and experience Zhao'an Hakka culture, customs and cuisine.

County Magistrate Chang Li-shan said that the area around Lunbei, Errun and Xiluo in Yunlin is a gathering place for the "Zhao'an Hakka" among Hakka ethnic groups, and is the region with the largest distribution of traditional Zhao'an Hakka settlements and population in Taiwan, China.
