To boost the development of the accommodation industry and drive consumption, the Taipei City Government's Department of Information and Tourism is organizing the "Taipei Staycation Festival." The event kicked off on August 21, and as of the 8th, more than 100 accommodation operators have responded and joined. On September 18, the "Taipei Autumn Party" will be held at the Butterfly Hall of Taipei Expo Park, inviting singers including 831, Jess Lee and Wei Chia-ying to deliver spectacular performances.
Liu Yi-ting, Commissioner of the Taipei City Government's Department of Information and Tourism, said he hopes the "Taipei Staycation Festival" will raise the public's interest in and participation with Taipei's accommodation industry. In addition to creating the willingness to "stay overnight" in Taipei through the event, the goal is also to recruit 150 accommodation operators in Taipei to join in, offering discounts and hotel perks, and inviting the public to "come stay overnight in Taipei!"
