Mid-Autumn Charity Product Promotion: Chiayi City Mayor Huang Min-hui Invites Everyone to Order Enthusiastically

Chiayi City - Yesterday (the 27th), a press conference for the Mid-Autumn charity product promotion event was held in the City Hall atrium. Representatives from multiple charity associations, religious temple groups, the Chiayi City General Labor Union, the Professional Labor Union, city council members, Legislator Wang Mei-hui, schools and various sectors gathered to support the event, helping the Cerebral Palsy Association, the Zai Geng Yuan Coffee Sheltered Workshop, and the Chiayi Christian Hospital Jiai Center promote Mid-Autumn charity gift boxes, as well as marketing the cuisine of the Zai Geng Yuan Restaurant Sheltered Workshop and the coffee of the Morning Light Intelligent Development Center. Chiayi City Mayor Huang Min-hui also personally showed her support and helped promote the event, hoping everyone would strongly recommend and order. On-site Mid-Autumn gift box orders surpassed 2,500 boxes, and orders for Zai Geng Yuan Restaurant meal vouchers and the Morning Light Intelligent Development Center coffee gift boxes were also very enthusiastic, with multiple wonderful performances as well.

Mayor Huang Min-hui stated, with the full moon comes love - has everyone chosen their gifts to express mutual affection for the Mid-Autumn Festival? The city government specially gathered several disability groups to create charity products made with love, sincerity, high quality and health, providing a platform for everyone to make purchases. She thanked the many organizations for joining together; everyone found it easy and enjoyable to browse and buy, because every product is the result of the hard work and dedication of friends with disabilities. The health-promoting gift boxes and products will absolutely make everyone feel that giving them is good value, and recipients will feel they are full of thoughtfulness.

She had thought that due to the impact of the pandemic, fewer people would come, but in fact more people came this year. Everyone is welcome to come and buy together; the value and meaning of this are even more special. Even with the "pandemic," Chiayi people are "loyal and righteous," and she wished everyone a more extraordinary Mid-Autumn Festival. Mayor Huang Min-hui also reminded that pandemic prevention work should be "relaxed but not loosened." In the face of the pandemic, maintain the highest standards of health management, follow the three-hands strategy (clasp hands in greeting, do not shake hands, wash hands frequently), and wear a mask at appropriate times to protect oneself.
