Another win for industry-academia collaboration, livestreaming expands the future of VR esports
To promote the development of the somatosensory technology industry in the Kaohsiung Software Park, the Export Processing Zone Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the Processing Zone Administration) matched Injoy Global with Shu-Te University for industry-academia collaboration, jointly cultivating cross-disciplinary talent in somatosensory technology, esports and livestreaming, and yesterday (the 28th) held an industry-academia collaboration signing ceremony at the Injoy Experience Center. The agreement was signed by Injoy Group Chairman Ouyang Chih-hung and Shu-Te University President Chen Ching-yao, witnessed by Processing Zone Administration Director Huang Wen-ku and Taiwan Industry-Academia Promotion Association Chairman Chen Chen-yuan. It is hoped that through this industry-academia collaboration, an Injoy dedicated livestreaming team will be cultivated to help the group's somatosensory esports product "Flash Duel" quickly connect with global audiences and expand its market layout.
The Injoy Group stated that Flash Duel is deeply supported and loved by players, but it still needs more diverse and effective marketing methods. Livestreaming is a way of communication that connects young players with audiences everywhere, yet it is also a current talent gap. They are very glad that through the Processing Zone Administration's matching, they are collaborating with Shu-Te University, allowing them to leverage the students' energy to let more people know about Flash Duel somatosensory esports. In the future, they plan to expand the competition scale from the current three-on-three to ten-on-ten and even cross-national battles, making team combinations more complete and the game more exciting and fun, attracting and accumulating audiences.
In the future, the Processing Zone Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs will continue to invest resources. In addition to continuing to build a high-quality investment environment in the Kaohsiung Software Park, it will further assist manufacturers in improving R&D energy, matching business opportunities, linking resources, and promoting industry-academia collaboration, creating the preferred base for digital economy development in southern Taiwan.
