Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che was invited to attend the mango marketing event and enjoyed cooling shaved ice treats

The Tainan City Association for the Promotion of Agricultural, Fishery, Livestock and Poultry Products held the "Agricultural Mango Shaved Ice Tasting Promotion and Irwin Mango Marketing Event" yesterday (the 20th) at the "Lianhai Pergola" opposite Xinmin Elementary School in Xinying District. A crowd gathered at the scene, each person holding a bowl of cooling mango shaved ice. Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che was invited to join everyone in the fun and enjoy the shaved ice treats. In addition to thanking the environmental protection volunteers for their contributions to keeping the environment clean, he personally drew the lucky winner of the first prize, a 55-inch digital TV, and happily posed for a group photo with several elected representatives.

Mayor Huang Wei-che stated that he was grateful for the support and participation from all sides, which made the event run both smoothly and successfully. This year, mango exports grew by 22%, and he was very grateful to the public for supporting farmers and high-quality agricultural products, which made the good prices possible. He also paid tribute to the environmental protection volunteers for their hard work throughout the year, and noted that everyone dining at the venue could simply clean up after themselves, as everyone is an environmental protection volunteer.

Due to the renovation of the Minzhi Council Building, it was held for the first time at the "Lianhai Pergola" adjacent to the Green River, and a Speaker's Cup ice-eating competition was launched. Not only were rich raffle prizes prepared so that people could enjoy ice and win prizes, but the "Tuesday" band, composed of retired principals, was also invited to perform, attracting nearly a thousand local residents who came with their families, young and old alike.
