Taitung County - Launching the "Most Beautiful Starry Sky Guide Training" again! All courses completely free

Taitung County - This year's (2020) "Most Beautiful Starry Sky Guide Training" is here! Anyone aged 20 or above who is registered as a resident of or settled in Taitung and who has a high level of enthusiasm and willingness for tour guiding and interpretation work in Taitung may sign up. The registration period is from June 1 to 10, 2020, with 35 places available, and no further applications will be accepted once the quota is full.

County Magistrate Rao Qingling stated that Taitung County pioneered the officially certified "Most Beautiful Starry Sky Guide Training" in 2019, with a special focus on the five stars, and trained Taitung's "Most Beautiful Starry Sky Guides." On the day registration opened, the urban area quota was filled immediately, and additional places were specially added. Loved by local residents and industry operators, and in order to continue Taitung's stargazing boom, this year (2020), Taitung County has once again planned the "Most Beautiful Starry Sky Guide Training" course. In addition to widely inviting "first-time trainees" who have never taken the course before, a "refresher course" will also be offered for trainees who passed the "Taitung Starry Sky Guide" certification last year. Besides increasing the hours taught on site by professional astronomy teachers, it also specially cooperates with the Taitung County Interpretation Association to add on-site guiding courses, allowing trainees to better understand the environmental ecology within Taitung County.

The refresher course will begin on June 17. The first-time training course starts on June 15 (Mon), with different training courses every week. Anyone aged 20 or above who is registered as a resident of or settled in Taitung County may sign up. It is hoped that through Taitung's unique geographical environment and excellent stargazing conditions, more travelers visiting Taitung will not only experience the emotion beneath a sky full of stars but also hear the stories of the stars.

Only after completing the training course and passing the test can one officially be on duty as a guide. At that time, the "Taitung Starry Sky Guide" will be both professional and of tourism value, and will add to the topic of visiting Taitung's most beautiful starry sky!
