Number One Nationwide in Agricultural Traceability, Yunlin Encourages Public to Buy Quality Meat

Yunlin County - Actively guiding agricultural, fishery and livestock operators to join traceability certification, with 475 certified households ranking first nationwide. Magistrate Chang Li-shan yesterday (the 18th) attended the traceability "From Farm to Table" Tai Chuan Rice Bucket opening and pork tasting event held by Tai Chuan Zhen Zhu Industrial Co., Ltd., encouraging the public to buy more of Yunlin's locally produced quality meat and enjoy both deliciousness and health.

Magistrate Chang Li-shan stated that Yunlin County is the nation's main hog-raising county, raising about 1.5 million pigs, accounting for about 27% of the nation's total. How to help the hog industry operate sustainably is the goal the county government strives for. In recent years, in addition to actively promoting agricultural, fishery and livestock operators to join traceability certification, the county government has also strengthened traceability administrative inspection work, and has won first place in the Council of Agriculture's performance evaluation for 4 consecutive years.
