Namasia honey peach season has arrived! Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu encourages everyone to place orders enthusiastically

Namasia District is in the middle of honey peach season. Mayor Han Kuo-yu led a city government team to the Namasia District Office on yesterday (the 5th) for an inspection visit, and used the trip to jointly market honey peaches. After sampling them on site, he praised the honey peaches as truly delicious! Everyone is welcome to place orders enthusiastically, and he also called on indigenous people to actively take part in the Kaohsiung First Choice platform and take the initiative to market agricultural products.

Mayor Han Kuo-yu said that because of personnel changes at the Namasia District Office, an acting district chief is currently handling the duties. The purpose of this inspection visit was to help the colleagues at the Namasia District Office, the representative council and local borough chiefs settle their minds. Public services in the Namasia area absolutely must not change because of personnel changes.

In addition, he pointed out that this year the budgets of all city government bureaus and departments were reduced, and only the budget for indigenous areas was not cut by even a cent. The city government, together with all local representatives and borough chiefs, has the responsibility to prosper the local economy, run local education well and provide medical services. He also stressed that services in remote areas absolutely must not fall behind, and expressed the hope that Namasia will move toward a better future.
