Action CAFÉ for Youth with Intellectual Disabilities: Pour-Over Coffee Aromas Fill the Air

On a morning filled with blessings, the "Mobile Coffee Cart" of the Shuangfu Foundation's Chenguang Intelligent Development Center was officially launched yesterday (the 29th) at the plaza outside the Chenguang Intelligent Development Center. This "Mobile Coffee Cart" was donated jointly by private enterprises and individuals, and in the future 12 young people with intellectual disabilities will operate it to make pour-over coffee, letting the aroma of coffee drift through the community! Chiayi Mayor Huang Min-hui and other distinguished guests came specially to cheer on people with physical and mental disabilities, and to thank people from all walks of life for their support, giving them the chance to give back to society and open a new page in life.

"Love never ends!" Mayor Huang Min-hui said that the Chenguang Intelligent Development Center has made great efforts in educating children with intellectual disabilities in Chiayi City, inspiring their potential and cultivating their work abilities. Shuangfu Foundation Chief Executive Officer Lin Mao-an said he was grateful to the "Yecheng Foundation" for the first pot of gold, taking the lead in sponsoring the "Action Coffee Plan for Youth with Intellectual Disabilities," and for the subsequent 1.4 million, which came successively from "TOP 4X4 Guanyu International Chen He-huang," "Dingzhen Coffee Estate Chen Ming-te," "Daqi Space Planning and Design Eric," "Black Jack Studio," and "Ribosi Custom Suits Justin," as well as the "Big Apple Little Sun Vitality Platform," which worked hard to raise funds for us. Everyone contributed money or effort, and only then could we create the country's first cup of branded pour-over coffee made by youth with physical and mental disabilities that everyone sees now!

In addition, through the pour-over coffee prepared by youth with intellectual disabilities, Chenguang Center will also provide the "Caregiver Respite Coffee Service," so that caregivers can get some respite while tasting Taiwan's high-quality pour-over coffee.
