How do you repot flowers during the process of growing them?

Late spring and early summer is a period when repotting potted flowers is more concentrated. Some flower growers affect the plant's subsequent growth because of incorrect methods during operation, so it is necessary to understand the correct method for repotting flowers.

Two days before preparing to repot, first water the flowers that need repotting with some dilute fertilizer water. This way the plant is easy to knock out of the flower pot, and the time for the plant to recover is greatly shortened. After that, prepare the flower pot, base fertilizer, cultivation soil, etc. one after another. When repotting, support the potting soil with the left hand, hold the bottom of the pot with the right hand, turn the flower pot over and lightly knock the rim of the pot against a soil board or step, changing the knocking position according to the situation, so that the soil ball can be taken out of the flower pot.

If the surface of the soil ball is covered with old roots, use a sharp knife to cut off some appropriately, and pare away part of the shoulder soil and foot soil. During the whole operation, never break up the soil ball. Put a thin layer of cultivation soil into the prepared flower pot, then put in a small amount of base fertilizer. Use some cultivation soil to cover the base fertilizer, then place the trimmed soil ball into the flower pot and straighten it, and fill in cultivation soil. Note that the surface of the potting soil should leave a few cm of space below the rim of the flower pot, so that watering later is convenient. Therefore, when filling in cultivation soil, it is best to add it to a level slightly higher than the surface of the soil ball. Then water the freshly repotted flowers thoroughly once.

Remember to place the flower pot in a place that is out of the way and suitable for the flowers to recover before watering. This is because moving the flower pot immediately after watering, first, is inconvenient because the potting soil contains more water, and second, moving the pot at this time will cause the cultivation soil to leak out from the bottom hole of the flower pot, thereby causing unnecessary trouble.
