Indoor bonsai and flower buying tips

Bonsai and flowers have long become part of modern home decoration, but when buying indoor flowers, you cannot simply buy whatever you like; you still need some buying tips. So how do you choose indoor flowers?

If you live on a floor above the first, when placing bonsai and flowers you need to choose flower varieties according to the orientation of the balcony, because the lighting conditions differ, and the flower varieties suitable for placement naturally differ. At present, according to the light preference of flowers, they are mainly classified into three categories: sun-loving flowers, shade-loving flowers, and neutral flowers.

Sun-loving flowers must grow under full light conditions and cannot tolerate shaded environments, such as pomegranate, Chinese rose, cactus, and Brazilian ironwood. These flowers are suitable for planting on a south-facing balcony with good light or in an open space in front of a building.

Shade-loving flowers cannot tolerate strong direct light and can only grow well under moderate shade, such as pothos, Chinese yew, lucky bamboo, and money tree. These flowers are suitable for planting on an indoor balcony and near windowsills with weaker light.

Neutral flowers have light intensity requirements between sun-loving and shade-loving flowers. They generally prefer diffused sunlight, but can also grow well in slight shade, such as peace lily. These flowers are suitable for planting in places with moderate light, such as the inner side of a balcony, a north-facing balcony, or a slightly shaded spot in front of a building.
