Youth Everlasting Spring goes on sale, Kaohsiung Deputy Mayor Yeh Kuang-shih invites you to enjoy the scenery of Liugui

To revitalise the Liugui District's Bulao Hot Spring tourism industry, the Kaohsiung City Government obtained the hot spring water rights and integrated them for allocation to local operators. Yesterday (the 12th), a press conference on the supply of Bulao Hot Spring was held, where Deputy Mayor Yeh Kuang-shih announced the brand-new launch of the Youth Everlasting Spring brand for the Bulao Hot Spring area, and encouraged each of the local revitalisation businesses one by one, inviting the public to soak in the springs at Liugui and slowly tour the beautiful scenery, hoping to create the next half-century for Bulao Hot Spring.

Bulao Hot Spring is a carbonated spring; its weakly alkaline water leaves skin smooth and tender after bathing, making it deeply loved by consumers. It was severely damaged after Typhoon Morakot, affecting the local tourism industry. In view of the fact that operators previously each drew hot spring water on their own and could not obtain a legal hot spring certification mark, which offered visitors less protection, the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau worked hard to coordinate and obtained the hot spring water rights to allocate to local operators for use, allowing 144 tons of hot spring water to be drawn daily, integrating and distributing the hot spring resources.

Deputy Mayor Yeh Kuang-shih said that Baolai Hot Spring and Bulao Hot Spring, located in eastern Kaohsiung, are renowned. Following Baolai Hot Spring's legal provision of water sources and the reopening of the Flower Viewing Park, which attracted large numbers of visitors, Bulao Hot Spring, through coordination between the city government and operators, has also legally obtained its water rights certification mark, which is of great significance. Deputy Mayor Yeh Kuang-shih believes that Liugui's local agricultural speciality products and brand stories are truly wonderful, and that it also possesses a remarkably rich cultural history and natural landscape. Everyone is welcome to slowly tour the Liugui area at a relaxed pace.

Chiu Chun-lung, Director-General of the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau, also stated that the Tourism Bureau will approach this from the perspective of "Eastern Kaohsiung Slow Food Travel", through the integration of local operators, itinerary promotion, and tourism branding, and will continue to promote quality local revitalisation shops, to build a distinctive tourism brand for the nine eastern districts.
