What hydroponic flowers are suitable for growing in the bedroom

Considering that the bedroom is where we usually rest and relax, it is best that the hydroponic flowers placed there do not give off too strong a fragrance, otherwise it can affect sleep; they should also help calm the mind and purify the air. With these points in mind, succulents and snake plant, pothos, spider plant and the like are all quite suitable for the bedroom, and they can also be grown hydroponically.
Aloe
Aloe is a succulent we commonly see. Placed in the bedroom as a hydroponic plant, it can purify the air, and aloe juice can also be used to prevent mosquito bites and relieve itching. As a succulent, aloe closes its stomata during the day, stops respiring at night, absorbs waste gases and releases oxygen, which also helps with sleep.
Haworthia cooperi
Not all succulents are suitable for hydroponics, but Haworthia cooperi is a fairly shade-tolerant succulent, and it is one that can be grown hydroponically. Its leaves are crystal clear, and it is also very good at absorbing fine dust particles from the air. When growing it hydroponically, note that the roots must be trimmed first, leaving the healthy, strong main roots. Then suspend it above the water surface and let the roots grow downward.
Burro's tail
Most Crassulaceae succulents are suitable for hydroponics, such as burro's tail. Burro's tail grows very fast; with enough water and sunlight and suitable temperatures, it can quickly grow from a small piece into a long string of succulents, with numerous branches, shaped like a green curtain. Since it grows so fast, when growing it hydroponically be sure to set up a support for it in advance; a hanging basket is recommended.
Lucky bamboo
Growing lucky bamboo hydroponically is very simple: just make a diagonal cut at the bottom of the stem, put it in water, and after a while it will take root. Lucky bamboo can absorb formaldehyde, benzene, nicotine and the like from the air, while also absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. However, it needs sufficient sunlight to grow normally, so when placing it in the bedroom be sure to give it light.
Watermelon peperomia
The leaves of watermelon peperomia have several veins like watermelon rind, alternating green and white, and the leaf shape is close to peach-shaped. Watermelon peperomia is a shade-loving flower and a hydroponic flower very suitable for growing in the bedroom. It only needs bright indirect light to grow healthily; the plant is small and pretty, and it is also an ace at purifying the air.
Snake plant
Snake plant is a fairly tough green plant, and its leaf tips can easily hurt people, so when placing it indoors be sure to put it somewhere children cannot easily reach. Snake plant can absorb waste gases such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, ethylene and chlorides, and can also produce oxygen at night, purifying the air and improving our sleep quality. Snake plant also carries the meaning of bringing us good fortune and good luck.
Pothos
Pothos is the most common hydroponic flower. Its air-purifying function really cannot compare with its decorative function, but just the fact that its lush green makes the room come alive is already very likable. Pothos can absorb waste gases such as benzene and formaldehyde from the air. If the bedroom is around 10 sq m, one or two pots of pothos can still do a pretty good job of purifying the air.
Spider plant
Spider plant is a hydroponic flower that is very easy to grow, and it is also an expert at purifying the air. While carrying out photosynthesis during the day, spider plant can also absorb harmful gases and particles such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen peroxide and nicotine. Spider plant has many varieties and a strong decorative effect; growing it in the bedroom both beautifies the environment and purifies the air, achieving multiple benefits at once.
