The most delicious grapes are right here in Changhua, and one out of every two grapes comes from Changhua. On the morning of the 9th, Changhua Magistrate Wang Huei-mei, accompanied by Chen Chin-yuan, Director-General of the Xihu Township Farmers' Association, and Chiu Yi-chih, Director of the Changhua County Agriculture Department, visited the greenhouse of farmer Yang Ju-chieh in Puyan Township, which is advised by the Xihu Township Farmers' Association, to learn about the harvest of Changhua's premium early-spring grapes. Magistrate Wang Huei-mei said that farmer Yang Ju-chieh is very dedicated and grows grapes in a greenhouse. March to May is generally a period when fewer fruits are produced, and the greenhouse early-spring grapes grown in Xihu happen to be produced during this period. Every year, the first early-spring grapes of the Northern Hemisphere come from Changhua County. The fruit is of good quality, with sweetness reaching about 17 to 19 degrees, and the price is good too. Every year, early-spring grapes can fetch an auction price of 400 yuan per kg on the market. This year's early-spring grapes have also been gradually released on the market, and fellow residents are welcome to buy early-spring grapes early if they want them. Changhua's premium grapes are delicious and their quality is guaranteed.

Magistrate Wang Huei-mei said that Changhua is a major agricultural county, and the annual output value of grapes is as high as nearly 3 billion yuan. The grape harvest area in Changhua is about 1,320 hectares, of which the cultivation area of Kyoho grapes is about 1,200 hectares. Xihu is the largest production area for Kyoho grapes, with a grape planting area of 480 hectares in Xihu Township, of which 280 hectares are greenhouse early-spring Kyoho grapes, which are delicious and nutritious.

Chen Chin-yuan, Director-General of the Xihu Township Farmers' Association, pointed out that the grapes produced in Xihu Township are fragrant and sweet, delicious and chewy, with sweetness reaching more than 18 degrees. Consumers are welcome to come to Xihu Township to eat grapes, pick grapes, and buy grapes. As long as it is a production and marketing group of the farmers' association, the Council of Agriculture's Agriculture and Food Agency provides subsidies. If farmers are interested in growing greenhouse grapes, they can apply at the farmers' association.
