As spring arrives, golden trumpet trees (Handroanthus chrysotrichus) are in full bloom in many parks and along surrounding roads in Taichung City, as if sprinkled with gold leaf, colorful and luxurious. The most representative spot is Buzi Park in Beitun District. Also, Buzi Road, Jingxian Road and Taishun Road around Buxing Park in Beitun District all use golden trumpet trees as street trees, and golden yellow flowers have already begun to open. Chen Datian, Director of the Taichung City Construction Bureau, called on people who enjoy viewing scenery and trees to make the most of the flowering season and go with family and friends to the parks to enjoy the special seasonal beauty.

Chen Datian, Director of the Taichung City Construction Bureau, said that golden trumpet trees begin blooming at the end of February, with a flowering season of about 1 month. Now is the best time to admire golden trumpet trees. The blooming trees set off against the blue sky and white clouds, and along the way the figure of golden yellow ribbons can be seen. This beautiful scenery is playing out in many corners of Taichung, including Buzi Park and its surroundings in Beitun District, Buxing Park and its surroundings in Beitun District, Lecheng Park in East District, Wenxiu Park in Xitun District and Wenxin Forest Park in Nantun District, among many other places.

Director Chen Datian pointed out that Mayor Lu Xiuyan values life and nature, and the Construction Bureau continues to promote the "Taichung Meile Di" plan. In addition to strengthening park hardware facilities, it also strengthens the implementation of planting care and maintenance and greening and beautification work for parks and street trees, making the beautiful urban landscape a public asset of Taichung.
